Getting into medicine as a mature student with few qualifications?

Thread Starter Getting into medicine as a mature student with few qualifications? Follow 2 hours ago 2h ago I am a mature student and I am really interested in studying medicine, however I have been out of education for about 4/5 years with not so great qualifications. I am trying to do my A levels in maths, biology and Chemistry privately but because I work full time I doubt I'd be able to get the kind of grades needed to apply for medicine or to make my application strong (A's and A*) plus I did not get great GCSE results either that medical schools are looking for. I have been looking at foundation year in medicine and I was wondering if anyone has got into medicine through foundation year? How did you get into the foundation year? Which university did you go to? What was the whole process? What qualifications, work experience did you get etc.? Any advice on what I can or should do that can help me get into medicine? Or ...
