Association of a label of penicillin allergy with increased risk of MRSA and Clostridium difficile infection: DTB Select summary

This journal article gives summary and context to a matched cohort study, that found people with a documented allergy to penicillin have higher rates of MRSA and Clostridium difficile infection. This was influenced by increased use of alternatives to beta-lactam antibiotics.
