Fibromyalgia Excluded By Pre-Existing Clause, California Federal Judge Determines

LOS ANGELES - A California federal judge on Oct. 27 determined that a disability claimant was not totally disabled from her occupation because of fibromyalgia and that the fibromyalgia was a pre-existing condition that is excluded from coverage under the policy (Cheryl Leslie v. United of Omaha Life Insurance Co., et al., No. 13-7056, C.D. Calif.; 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 154871).
