UnitedHealth, Envision deal settles months-long dispute
After almost a year of lawsuits, op-eds and accusations of over-billing and “tactics that fuel conflict,” Nashville-based Envision Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare have reached a compromise.
On Tuesday, the two companies announced they have agreed to a contract extension that will allow the Minnetonka, Minn.-based health insurer to cover services from Envision physician s, according to a news release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
