Endometrial Cancer and Bariatric Surgery: A Scoping Review
Endometrial cancer is the most common gynecologic malignancy in developed countries, and the fourth most common cause of cancer in women [1]. In 2012, there were an estimated 319 600 new cases of uterine cancer worldwide [2]. Women in developed countries have a 2.8% lifetime risk of developing uterine cancer, most common being Type 1, or estrogen-sensitive [1].
