Publication date: February 2019Source: Phytochemistry Letters, Volume 29Author(s): Jing-Yong Ma, De-Rui Zhao, Tao Yang, Dan Liu, Rong-Tao Li, Hong-Mei LiAbstractIn the ongoing investigation of bioactive compounds from the roots of Sophora flavescens, six prenylflavanones, including two new ones, sophoraflavanones M (1) and N (2), were isolated. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated on the basis of their spectroscopic data. In addition, compound 5 exhibited moderate anti-influenza virus activity, with EC50 value of 43.9 μM.Graphical abstract
