Troubled Atlanta biomedical company MiMedx to slash 240 jobs, EY quits as auditor

Troubled Atlanta biomedical company MiMedx Group Inc. said Wednesday it will slash its workforce by approximately 240 full-time employees, or 24 percent of its total workforce. MiMedx also said accounting firm Ernst& Young LLP  has resigned as the company's auditor effective immediately. Of the jobs being cut, about half are sales personnel, MiMedx (OTC PINK: MDXG) said.
