To the Editor On behalf of our coauthors, we write to report errors that occurred in our article, “Safety and Benefit of Discontinuing Statin Therapy in the Setting of Advanced, Life-Limiting Illness: A Randomized Clinical Trial,” that was published online on March 23, 2015, and in the May 2015 issue ofJAMA Internal Medicine. We believe that this represents a “pervasive error” warranting this letter of explanation and a Correction. The overall impact of the errors is minor and once corrected the conclusions of the study remain unchanged.
