City Hall drops lawsuit against San Antonio fire union

The city of San Antonio has dropped its multiyear lawsuit contesting the constitutionality of a 10-year evergreen clause built into the previous contract with municipal firefighters. City Manager Sheryl Sculley confirmed that municipal officials have taken that step in an effort to bring union leadership back to the bargaining table.
