ConclusionThe isolation of C. albicans and non - albicans from respiratory specimens should be reconsidered as these organisms are re-emerging pathogens. Speciation is needed due to variation in species pathogenicity and their susceptibility.
CONCLUSIONS Intraarticular vancomycin and teicoplanin maximale tolerable and maintenance doses can be safely used beside surgery and intravenous antibiotics to increase efficacy of treatment, reduction of recurrence rates and reduction of mortality in MRSA septic arthritis. This study aimed to determine the seizure frequency and assess the clinical benefit of a 5-minute air-break (5´-AIRBK). METHODS: Twenty-year (1999-2018) retrospective analysis of all consecutive treatments with HBOT. Conclusions Biofilms represent a major clinical challenge, with no clear consensus for treatment of chronic wounds or prosthetic devices. Our results suggest that hypochlorous acid–based wound solutions such as Vashe and PhaseOne are more efficacious than mafenide in eliminating bacterial and fungal biofilms. Further studies are necessary to investigate and compare the in vivo efficacy of these products in clinical care.
