Effect of prolonged treatment with phosphodiesterase ‐5‐inhibitors on endothelial dysfunction in vascular diseases and vascular risk conditions: a systematic review analysis and meta‐analysis of randomized double‐blind placebo‐controlled trials

ConclusionsThe results on the benefits of a prolonged use of phosphodiesterase –5 selective inhibitors, with the objective of lowering endothelial cell dysfunction in patients with vascular diseases or vascular risk conditions are not convincing.
