Role of periodontal disease in bisphosphonate‐related osteonecrosis of the jaws in ovariectomized rats
ConclusionBisphosphonates inhibit alveolar bone resorption in progressive periodontal disease, which might benefit the management of periodontitis, but increase the risk of developing BRONJ.
