Treatment on 2 cases of pain in the heel based on syndrome differentiation by wrist-ankle acupuncture

According to the manifestations in tongue diagnosis and symptoms, the 2 cases both belonged to bladder excess syndrome, the acupuncture was carried out on area 6 of low limb (external anterior border of achilles tendon at three finger wide above the lateral malleolus), and acupuncture was also carried out on Zútōnggŭ ( BL 66), Jīnmén ( BL 63) and Shēnmài ( BL 62) at the left side. The results showed that the therapeutic efficacy of treatments on the 2 patients was satisfactory and thus the clinical values for new methods for using wrist-ankle acupuncture based on syndrome differentiation were verified.
