Pregnancy Rates and Pregnancy Outcomes after Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in Childhood: a Cross-Sectional Survey of the EBMT Pediatric WP

Conclusion: This study confirms a low pregnancy rate in survivors of childhood HSCT. Natural conception was possible when patients are conditioned without TBI. After TBI, pregnancy assisted fertilization techniques may increase pregnancy rate. The number of live births and complications indicate the need to advise survivors of childhood HSCT about the potential risks and outcome of pregnancy and advise them appropiately.DisclosuresBader: Cellgene: Consultancy; Neovii: Research Funding; Medac: Patents &Royalties, Research Funding; Riemser: Research Funding; Novartis: Consultancy, Speakers Bureau.

We report a case of a 36-year-old woman with type 2 diabetes mellitus and a one-year of primary infertility. Following oral ovulation induction cycles and IUI, diagnosis of heterotopic cervical pregnancy was made by ultrasonography at 7.4 weeks of gestation. Laser ablation of the cervical pregnancy was performed achieving adequate homeostasis at the implantation site and preserving the intrauterine pregnancy. A healthy infant was delivered at 36 0/7 wks by cesarean-section.Laser ablation is a minimally invasive procedure that appears to lead to successful outcomes in treatment of heterotopic cervical pregnancy.

Abstract The Folic Acid and Zinc Supplementation Trial (FAZST) was a multi-center, double-blind, block-randomized, placebo-controlled trial to determine whether folic acid and zinc supplementation in men improves semen quality and increases live birth rate among couples seeking infertility treatment (2013-2017). Eligible men were ages 18 years or older with their female partners ages 18-45 seeking infertility treatment. Men were randomized (1:1) to 5 mg folic acid and 30 mg elemental zinc daily or matching placebo for six months. Randomization was stratified by site and intended infertility treatment (in vitro fer...
