ConclusionsThis meta ‐analysis confirms high specificity but modest sensitivity of posttreatment18F ‐FDG PET/CT for local failure and regional failure. Sensitivity and specificity are significantly improved when18F ‐FDG PET/CT is performed>3 months for local failure.
