Prediction of obstructive lung function and the risk of complications in morbidly obese patients undergoing bariatric surgery

Conclusion: The 112 algorithm is useful for prediction of obstructive lung function, but the sensitivity to predict peri-operative complications is low. The added prognostic value of VC and IC should be further investigated.
