Assessment of differential activity of reactive radicals in cell lines infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Conclusion: There is differential regulation in the cells with respect to SOA production. While production of NO is not tissue specific. There is variation with respect to the susceptibility of the two cell lines to MTB infection. Initial line of defense was unable to control the infection of MTB despite increase in production of SOA and NO. It shows MTB induces more or less similar patho-immunogenesis irrespective of the tissue specificity.
