Lung cancer incidence trends in Croatia: emergency for public health interventions

Conclusion: There is a significant increase in female TBL cancer incidence rate, and a decrease in male TBL cancer incidence rate. Croatia is among the European countries with the highest lung cancer incidence.The late diagnosis and high mortality rate point to the need of upgrading non-smoking campaign and lung cancer screening.
