Risk Assessment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome and Excessive Daytime Sleepiness in a Greek nursing staff population using the Berlin Questionnaire and Epworth Sleepiness Scale

Conclusions: The population at high risk for OSAS and EDS in the nursing staff was found to be 20% and 28% respectively. The high risk for OSAS and EDS was the same irrespective of working in shift status. Working hour’s instability and shift status affected lifestyle habits that are known risk factors for OSAS development.
