Sleep apnea syndrome and its association with serum vitamin D level
Conclusion: The results showed that our population suffers from hypovitaminosis D and a significant decrease in vitamin D values was observed in the group with OSAS (mean = 16 ng / ml, p = 0.017).To study the mechanisms of this deficiency, vitamin D supplementation should be studied in these patients and its effect on the symptoms, severity and biological markers of inflammation.
