Surgical biopsy results of our patients with diffuse parenchymal lung diseases

Conclusion: Surgical biopsy provided definite diagnosis in 98% of our cases. However, the mortality was 6%. Therefore surgical biopsy decision should be considered multidisciplinary in appropriate patients.
