Effects of pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with asthma

Conclusion: Asthma patients entering PR are highly complex in terms of symptoms, exacerbation frequency, oral corticosteriod dependency, current smoking, high prevalence of obesity and other comorbidities. Nevertheless, the current results show that PR is a successful intervention for these patients with clinically meaningful improvements in functional capacity and quality of life.
