Risk factors for immunosuppression in hospitalized patients coming from the community with pneumonia: a worldwide perspective

Conclusion: Immunosuppressed patients coming from the community with pneumonia should be covered against usual CAP pathogens while extensive diagnostic work up should be performed on patients with AIDS and hematological malignancies.
