Computed Tomography in Adult Congenital Heart Disease.

Computed Tomography in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. Radiol Clin North Am. 2019 Jan;57(1):85-111 Authors: Ranganath P, Singh S, Abbara S, Agarwal PP, Rajiah P Abstract The prevalence of adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) is increasing due to advances in surgical techniques, anesthesia, and perioperative care. Imaging plays an important role, not only in the surveillance of ACHD, but also in the initial evaluation of cases that have escaped detection early in life and present with symptoms later in adulthood. In this article, we review the role of computed tomography in the comprehensive evaluation of ACHD. PMID: 30454820 [PubMed - in process]
