Newlywed struck down by polio-like illness on dream honeymoon after coming down with a common cold

Adam Spoerri, 30, from Burnham Park, Wisconsin, caught a cold while on his honeymoon in July. Two months later, he was paralyzed and diagnosed with acute flaccid myelitis, a rare polio-like illness.
