Is it angioedema or air?

Angioedema can present with acute facial and upper airway swelling that may be potentially life threatening. Diagnosis is made clinically based on history and exam findings. In patients with concern of airway compromise, immediate airway protection and treatment is indicated. It is important to evaluate for mimickers of angioedema which may have similar presentations but differing treatments.Periorbital edema Photograph of patient taken on day of admission
