IRS, HHS, EBSA: Religious Exemptions and Accommodations for Coverage of Certain Preventive Services Under the Affordable Care Act

Notice of final rule from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the Employee Benefits Security Administration to finalize expanded exemptions to protect religious beliefs for certain entities and individuals whose health plans are subject to a mandate of contraceptive coverage under the Affordable Care Act. The rule will be effective on January 14, 2019.
