Reduction of Computed Tomography Use for Pediatric Closed Head Injury Evaluation at a Non-pediatric Community Emergency Department.
CONCLUSION: Implementation of the PECARN-based Pediatric Closed Head Injury Assesstment Tool reduced head CT use in a non-pediatric ED. The greatest impact was seen among children aged ≥24 months at very low risk for ciTBI. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
