UC researchers granted $3.4 million by NIH to study gastrointestinal lymphatic system

(University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center) A team of researchers at the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Medicine have been awarded $3.4 million by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study the role of the gastrointestinal (GI) lymphatic system in dietary nutrient absorption and the transport of signaling molecules.
