A prospective comparative study between intravenous and intraarticular tranexamic acid administration in decreasing the perioperative blood loss in total knee arthroplasty

ConclusionsBoth intravenous as well as intraarticular administration of tranexamic acid provided excellent results no known adverse effects. However neither of the two modalities should be considered superior to the other.
