Blue Cross making changes to opioid policy in 2019

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama is making changes to the way it handles opioids. Alabama's largest health insurer said it is changing its opioid management strategy for its commercial members in 2019 as part of a larger effort to combat the opioid epidemic.
