Recovery of regional systolic and diastolic myocardial function after acute myocardial infarction evaluated by two ‐dimensional speckle tracking echocardiography
ConclusionsThe most of regional systolic function recovery occurs within the first 2 days. The recovery of regional diastolic function takes longer – the most significant part of improvement occurs within the first 7 days. STE parameters have prognostic value for predicting the improvement of systolic function after 180 days.
