When coronary bypass is the wrong bypass: More sleeve gastrectomies and gastric bypasses to reduce cardiovascular mortalities.
This study of 1330 weight loss surgical patients, in which the majority had laparoscopic sleeve gastrecto my (LSG) (73%), showed that 10-year score cardiovascular risk had a greater reduction in sleeve patients than in Laparoscopic Roux-en- gastric bypass patients, although the difference was small.
