Preoperative Diabetes and Early Postoperative Weight Loss Can Predict 1-year Weight Loss Success after Sleeve Gastrectomy
Background: The sleeve gastrectomy is effective for weight loss and resolution of obesity-related comorbidities. However, not all patients achieve the same level of success. The purpose of this study is to determine if preoperative and postoperative markers predict successful weight loss.
