Effects of increased intra-abdominal and thoracic pressure in vasopressin release and kidney Function during Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy
Background: There is no data describing the pathophysiological changes of intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) and intrathoracic pressure (ITP) on vasopressin and kidney function. The aim of this study is to describe this relationship through a controlled elevation in IAP and ITP (PEEP) while concurrently assessing vasopressin and urine output during Laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy(LSG).
