IU Philanthropic Venture Fund commits $500,000 to drug development company

(Indiana University) The Indiana University Philanthropic Venture Fund has made a commitment to invest $500,000 in NERx Biosciences Inc., a startup company that discovers and develops targeted therapeutics for cancer treatment. IU researcher John J. Turchi founded the company.
