A happy ending in KC's stolen colon case
The Colon Cancer Coalition has raised more than $11,000 to replace its stolen inflatable colon, the organization announced Monday.
After beating its $4,000 fundraising goal, the Minneapolis-area nonprofit will now buy two colons from Landmark Creations International, a spokeswoman said in an email. (Landmark Creations, also based in a Minneapolis suburb, has made inflatable colons for several organizations in the past.)
