ConclusionThoracic dumbbell tumors should be evaluated for intraspinal and neuroforaminal involvement. Single-stage posterior laminectomy plus VATS/thoracotomy, VATS/thoracotomy, and supraclavicular alone or combined with transthoracic approach all could be the preferred method for removing these dumbbell tumors with satisfactory outcomes.
