New iridoid glycosides from Viburnum punctatum

The new compounds, designated as viburpunosides A − C (1−3), are characterized by having a mono- or triacylated α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-d-glucopyranosyl moiety linked to C-11. This is the second report of an iridoid attached to a disaccharide other than glucose in this genus. The absolute configuration of new compounds was briefly discussed.Graphical abstract
