Time for Collective Action

Science has long provided a foundation for economic growth and sound environmental- and health-policy decision-making in the United States. However, evidence continues to mount that the Trump administration has little interest in investing in research or in using science to guide public-policy decision-making. If the scientific community fails to unite with common and strategic responses to this changing policy environment, the future of science in the United States is uncertain.
