LEA 19. Long-Term Follow-up in Extreme Endovascular Revascularization of Native Artery After Bypass Failure in Patients With Critical Limb Ischemia

Lower extremity bypass (graft) failure in patients with limb-threatening ischemia carries an amputation rate of>50%. Redo bypass grafting is associated with an inferior outcome compared with primary bypass and is often not feasible because of the patient ’s medical risk factors and lack of adequate bypass conduit or target. Considerable advances in interventional skills and the new devices available allow an endovascular approach to arterial lesions previously confined to bypass surgery. The aim of this study was to evaluate the role of endovascul ar recanalization of severely diseased native arteries after bypass occlusion in patients with critical limb ischemia (CLI) and its outcomes.
