In this study, hyaluronic acid (HA)- and carboxymethyl cellulose sodium (CMCNa)-based novel cross-linked hydrogels (HC hydrogels) were synthesized and fully characterized. We demonstrated that varied compositions of HA and CMCNa altered the microstructure, rheology, and degradation behavior of hydrogels.
