Analysis of the clinical antibacterial and antituberculosis pipeline

The Current clinical pipeline contains 30 new antibacterials with activity against priority pathogens and is dominated by derivatives of established classes. New antibacterials to address problem of extensively or even pan-drug resistant Gram-negative bacteria are under-represented.
