Authors: Śmigórska A, Śmigórski K, Rymaszewska J Abstract The following article discusses the possibility of applying a rehabilitation strategy known as Errorless Learning (EL) in patients suffering from Alzheimer's disease (AD). The authors present the issue in the context of the knowledge on the effectiveness of administering neuropsychological interventions in patients with AD. The history of the EL method development is presented as well as techniques used in its domain. The novelty of the EL methodological approach is shown. It is emphasized that EL, in contrast with the majority of neuropsycho...

The chemokine ligand 13 (CXCL13) and its chemokine receptor 5 (CXCR5) are among the key chemotactic factors which play crucial roles in deriving cancer cell biology. CXCL13/CXCR5 signaling axis makes pivotal contributions to the development and progression of ...

In this study, the antifungal activity of base analogues, 5-flucytosine (5-FC) and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), was tested against planktonic cells as well as against mature biofilm.MethodsTests were performed according the EUCAST methodology. Antibiofilm effectiveness of tested drugs was determined by the crystal violet staining method. The cytotoxicity assays was performed according to the ISO 10993-5 norm.Results5-FC and 5-FU were effective against fifteen fluconazole resistant Candida glabrata strains with an average minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.152 mg/L and 0.39 mg/L, respectively. Folinic acid (fol...
