The New Harvard Doctor of Public Health: Lessons From the Design and Implementation of an Innovative Program in Advanced Professional Leadership. Public Health Rep. 2018 Oct 11;:33354918804523 Authors: Berman P, Frenk J Abstract We documented lessons learned in the initial design and development of the new Harvard doctor of public health (DrPH) degree, an innovative professional public health doctorate designed to provide advanced education in the field of public health. Using data from program documents, personal participation in the development and administration of the degree, and initial students' results, we present key learnings from this experience and describe the program's goals and processes. Now entering its fifth year, the new Harvard DrPH program has enrolled about 70 students and graduated its first 2 classes in a program that combines advanced public health study with leadership development and field engagement. Development of this transformational innovation in advanced public health education required creative approaches to competency development and curriculum design, engagement of faculty to become supportive stakeholders, and substantial support for educational administration. Demand for a program of this type is strong. Continuous improvement is ongoing. PMID: 30309277 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
ConclusionGiven our findings, conservative treatment should be compared to surgical treatment for displaced fractures and the anterior approach should be compared to the posterior one for surgical cases.Level of evidenceIV.
ConclusionsThe levels of urinary miRNAs are valuable biomarkers for idiopathic ONFH. Given the noninvasive nature of this test, it is potentially useful for diagnosis and monitoring of idiopathic ONFH progression.
ConclusionThere was no statistically significant different between knotless versus knotted medial row double row rotator cuff repair constructs using suture tape in regard to displacement across the repair site, stiffness and ultimate load to failure. Despite previous evidence suggesting inferiority of knotless medial row technique using suture constructs, this evidence may support the biomechanical equivalency of knotless medial row technique using suture tape.

CONCLUSIONS: For peripheral lung cancer, the measurement on CT and routine MRI sequences can potentially replace each other after comprehensive consideration of examination purposes, but for central lung cancer, alternative use of CT and MRI in evaluating treatment responses for lung cancer should needs extra attention. The diameter measurement of lung cancer on DWI is consistent with that on T1WI and T2WI, suggesting that DWI can provide functional and morphological information. This study was, therefore, conducted to evaluate the effectiveness WASH education program on households' WASH performance in rural Dembiya, northwest Ethiopia. Method: An uncontrolled before-and-after intervention study was conducted. Baseline and endline surveys were done among 225 and 302 randomly selected households with under-5 children, respectively, using a structured questionnaire and observational checklists. Percent point change was used to see the effect of the intervention. Pearson χ2 and Fisher exact tests were used to test for statistically significant percentage point changes on the basis of P

Sacituzumab-govitecan (SG) is a new class of antibody-drug-conjugate (ADC) targeting the human-trophoblast-cell-surface marker (Trop-2) conjugated with the active metabolite of irinotecan (SN-38). We evaluated the efficacy of SG against biologically ag...
