PAIT-survey —Prevalence of albuminuria in patients with diabetes and hypertension in Turkey

Albuminuria, an early marker of chronic kidney disease (CKD), is one of the major risk factor for cardiovascular events [1,2] and overt nephropathy [3,4]. Undetected or untreated albuminuria increases the risk of CKD, being the clinical course of albuminuria usually progressive [5,6].
