Murray Kessler, the former chairman and CEO of Lorillard Tobacco Co., has been appointed president and CEO of Perrigo Co., a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Ireland. Kessler's tenure as CEO of Greensboro-based Lorillard started in 2010 and ended in 2015 with the company's $27.4 billion merger with long-time rival Winston-Salem-based Reynolds American Inc.
