An explosive side effect of albuterol nebulizers

As a 74-year-old asthmatic patient was burning his leaves, he heard an explosion and immediately suffered a right thoracoabdominal penetrating trauma of unknown origin. He called for help and was taken to a level 1 trauma center. He was hemodynamically stable but was suffering from pain related to an irregular wound in the right eighth intercostal space, 10 cm lateral to the sternum. There was no exit wound.
