Challenges in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Prodromal and Early-Onset Psychosis in the Community Care Settings

This Clinical Perspectives will present data from an extensive review of the available literature to highlight the most current understanding on the pathophysiology and the clinical presentations of prodromal psychosis-related illnesses in youth and young adults. Presenters will discuss clinical vignettes to illustrate the challenges faced and clinical questions related to the diagnosis and community-based interventions that arose over the course of treatment. We will provide ample time for a panel discussion surrounding the issues presented and then open a questions-and-answers discussion with the audience.
