3.2 Biological Determinants of Gender Identity
In the last 10 to 15 years, compelling data have emerged supporting the concept that gender identity is not simply a psychosocial construct but likely reflects a complex interplay of biological, environmental, and cultural factors. The principal objective of this presentation is to review scientific evidence in support of biological underpinnings of gender identity.
